Hey all. I wanted to make this thread for us audiophiles to share our Equalizer settings through the Google Play Music app and give people some general guidelines for optimal sound settings. While there is no real format to this, if you decide to contribute, please try to include:
Headphone type (earbuds or headphones)
Brand of headphones/earbuds (if you can)
Type of music
Screenshot of settings
For me, I listen mainly to metal and hip hop. And when I say metal, I don't mean Judas Priest or Black Sabbath. I'm talking about the newer generation of metal with weird noises and breakdowns (ALL THE BREAKDOWNS). I want my music to be as heavy as possible, so I lean more towards heavy bass and cranked treble which offers extremely clarity to the instruments. The vocals take a bit of a hit and almost get drowned out, but I'm still trying to find a way to balance everything. If there are any fellow metalheads here, please feel free to help out. :)
