[SKOLSC] My new ANDROID HU 4.4.4 KK

Hello XDA team.....
My name is SKOLSC, and i'm a french AUDI S3 8P 2007 owner.

I order 3 week ago a pure ANDROID HU (4.4.4 KK, KGL V2.55, 1024x600, RK3188), and received it since 1 week. (ALIexpress Greenyi item for AUDI S3).
I've got some issue, like others, like a poor microphone or some ground noise loop, when engine on. I work on it, with XDA forum help....

This said, the first step for me is the "ROOT".

So, i read carefully the FAQs on the HU thread, and all is clear for me, except one detail:

My HU is a 4.4.4 and the FAQs said that i need to install a pre-rooted image, and that's all.....
Because i'm a real newb on ANDROID world, is somebody can confirm witch exact file i must install to get this pre-rooted img (4 different files on the repo).

XOLO black heating and hanging problem

Hi ,
I have xolo black but m facing a some problem like its heating while charging,playing and connected to internet as well
and its hanging too much ...pls guys tell me what to do ...

I am unable to use my Sony Xperia Z2...the touch is playing up after the new update

I am unable to type the letters at the end of the keyboard....this is happening since past 2 days since the new update from Sony. initially the screen started opening apps automatically. when I tried opening whatsapp....the app next to it would open, then I tried restarting the phone still the same thing, The moment I switched On my phone, number of applications open up & d phone heats up pretty fast. After keeping the phone switched off for a day...I reset the phone back to its original settings...erased every app n all my personal data. Now the phone doesn't play but the touch isn't as responsive as it used to be and while texting letters mix up & I am unable to use the letter 'p' and the number '0' also 'j' & 'h' appear 2 times when pressed. I don't know what is wrong. I don't know how to downgrade the software version, If in case its a software issue. Kindly help me with this.

Which version is mine?

In Setting - About device it say SM-G900F

But in bootloader it say SM-G900T

I just noticed this when I failed to flash BOOTLOADER/MODEM Package using SM-G900F

Previously I installed TWRP for SM-G900F. Or is it TWRP is for any version?

Should I use BOOTLOADER/MODEM for SM-G900T? Would it brick my phone?

[LIST][Flashable] Pre-rooted firmwares (6 oct 2015)

Hi guys

A guy asked me to create a thread of flashable pre-rooted firmwares so i did it. this thread is for lazy peoples who don't want or can't create their own pre-rooted firmware
If you've never flashed a pre-rooted firmware in recovery mode before, please read carefully all the warnings and the instructions for beginners.
Before any question, read all the FAQs.
Any suggestion is welcome!

-----[ Warnings ]-----

• This process will NOT void your warranty!


• No root needed.


• Custom recovery is required!


• This process will NOT unlock your device: if your bootloader is still locked, it will remain locked.


• This process will NOT re-lock your device: if your bootloader is already unlocked, it will remain unlocked.


• With this process you won't lose your DRM keys (locked bootloader), so don't worry about it


• This process will NOT delete all your user data (apps, accounts and so on...), but doing dirty install can make your device unstable. a full wipe is always recommended!!!


• This process will NOT delete your internal memory.


• This process will NOT delete anything inside your SD card.

Don't be overly confident! If you've got important files in your phone (like pictures, documents, videos...) which you can't absolutely lose, make a copy and keep it in a safe place before any change!

Q: Will OTA (over-the-air) updates stop working?
A: No, OTA will be preserved and you'll receive the next upgrades as usual.
Remember that OTA works only with locked bootloader.

Q: Can I install a firmware from a country which is not mine?
A: Yes you can, as all the unbranded firmwares are almost the same stuff except for some apps that can be uninstalled without any problem.
Anyway it's better to choose the country nearest to you, because there could be some little differencies with network settings.

Q: What's my current customization number?
A: Open the phone dial pad and press *#*#7378423#*#*, then tap on Service info > Software info and read the number under "Customization Version". You can find a complete list of customizations HERE.

Q: Can I install a firmware for another phone model which is not mine?
A: Never do that, especially if you're a noob: you could mess up your device seriously!

Q: My current firmware is already rooted, will I need to root again after flashing?
A: No you don't need.

Q: Can I flash a firmware with CWM/Philz?
A: Yes you can, but CWM/Philz Touch is reported to create errors /failing flashes /lost of root etc!

----- [ How to flash ]-----
Important: Make a backup before flashing!

1. Download and copy the pre-rooted firmware into the micro SDcard


2. Reboot your phone, boot into the recovery before the phone boot into Android OS (if you knew how to do it). If you using XZDualRecovery, press VOL DOWN to boot into TWRP or VOL UP to boot into CWM after your phone vibrate twice


3. Open "Install ZIP" and go to the location where you copied the firmware


4. Wipe /system, /data, /dalvik-cache, and /cache (recommended)


5. Boot and setup your phone

-----[ How to make a pre-rooted firmware ]-----
Do you need/want a pre-rooted firmware which is not already present inside the list? Try to make your own pre-rooted firmware by yourself!
You need PRFCreator and read the tutorial.

[DEV]MultiBootloader v1.03 for Yureka

I was a HTC HD2 user before. And probably you already know, it has 2 super Second BootLoader's (SBL) which are based on Windows CE kernel and can run Android kernel and Windows Phone 7 efi.

With this tool, we can use multiple roms (a nand and a sd-ext based roms) simulatansly. We can select which rom to use at start up process.

Also I created a little flasher for it. You should run installer.bat to install this bootloader to your phone.

When you installed it to your phone, it replaces your kernel (boot partition). So when you boot up to device, it will ask to which kernel is executed. So you should copy your 1st roms boot.img to Internal Memory Card/TWRP/1.img and External Memory Card/TWRP/1.img. Also you can copy (if you have a second kernel ) boot.img to Internal Memory Card/TWRP/2.img and External Memory Card/TWRP/2.img. When you select a kernel, MultiBootloader flashes it to recovery partition and immediatly reboot to recovery to execute kernel.

Stuck at "Quietly Brilliant" Screen

Hello Everyone, I have recently bought my droid DNA and when I tried opening the front camera and i couldn't because there wasn't any option to flip between the front and rear camera. So, i tried clearing all the cache and internal memory and did Factory Reset too. Now my phone is stuck on this Quietly brilliant screen and I have had no luck with Power Button+Lower volume key.

Please help me find a solution since i have no idea of using this phone. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Charging problem 99% on Sony Z3 Lollipop 5.1.1

Hi,

Anyone experience a problem about charging on Z3 ? it indicates that 99% charged then I unplug the charger and plug it in again, it now displays as 100%, is this a bug on Lollipop ? or Z3 itself ?

Bluetooth audio not received after 5.1.1 upgrade

I would connect my Note 4 to the Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter and switch on the Bluetooth on my Bose speaker instead of sound from the TV, that was working previously on Lollipop 5.0.1 but since upgrading to Lollipop 5.1.1, the sound goes only to the TV, I switch on my Bose speaker and connect it with my phone but no sound comes from it, I went back to Lollipop 5.0.1 and now it works with my speaker!!, is anyone experiencing this problem and if anyone has a solution?, I'd like to upgrade to the latest firmware but no point if I can't use my screen mirroring audio with my speaker.

I want to ask if it is possible or anybody can modify any modem to have all lte band activated and after that to flash them on phone?

Ringtones with headphones splugged in

If I have the headphones plugged in, when I receive a call or a message, the ringtone is heard only through the loudspeaker and not into the headphones: is this normal?

Replacing kinguser with supersu

I have followed supersu me and zidroid's guide to replace kinguser with supersu, replacing was successful but root access was removed. I'm using a spreadtrum sc8830 device, running android 4.4.2 KitKat. Please help me switch to supersu.

Hey guys, my z2 is running on Android Lollipop 5.0.2 rooted+recovery, and i want to upgrade to 5.1.1 but with root and recovery, so can someone please get me a link for it :) and also are these the right steps for doing it without losing data and if i want to flash it from sdcard, how much space should i have free on internal memory :)

2, enter twrp
3, flash rom then wipe cach/dalvik
4.restart

I get no preview of it when selecting it in the ringtone chooser. I'm running Blisspop 5.1.1 on my G900F. I have tried the formats mp3, ogg and m4a. They play fine on my computer.
